Awards Shows and Galas
There’s nothing quite like the magic of an awards show, whether it's a third-grade piano recital or a lifetime achievement celebration—the anticipation in the air, the lights dimming just before the event begins, the culmination of hard work and preparation that finally gets to see the light of day. Being a part of these celebrations in any capacity always fills my heart with such pride for those that are being honored and their contributions that leave a mark on the world.
I've been fortunate in my professional life to have been involved in a number of pretty cool awards shows and galas from nationally televised productions to exclusive star-studded galas. Whether it’s a musical gala celebrating visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community or a ceremony honoring great filmmakers, it's always an honor ensuring that every detail within my scope of responsibility is seamless, so the honorees can have their moments in the spotlight just as intended.
Below, I've included some of the biggest hitting awards shows and galas that I've been a part of in one role or another. They are the 73rd Annual TONY® Awards, the Recording Academy's Grammys On the Hill Awards, the Banff World Media Awards (the Rockies), the Television Critics Association Awards, the commencement ceremony for the American Film Institute honoring Carol Burnett, and galas for The Trevor Project and the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus.
