Hosted by Julie Andrews and conducted by John Williams, this one-night-only, star-studded concert showcased the global influence and ongoing legacy of Hollywood's most prolific composer: Henry Mancini. Musical guests, including Lady Gaga and David Koz, were accompanied by The Henry Mancini Orchestra.

I was brought onto the project by the late Ginny Mancini, whose decades-long devotion to promoting arts education around the world inspired the musical program, featuring the lush orchestrations of the one and only Henry Mancini.

Being able to program a concert with the one and only John Williams at the conductor's podium was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I am so grateful to have had. Maestro Williams heard about the project not long after I joined the team and he was so passionate about being involved that he volunteered to lead the orchestra himself, waiving his standard fee. Henry Mancini was his biggest inspiration when he was growing up, and without his compositions, Mr. Williams claimed his life and career would never have blossomed the way that it did. The evening of the performance, watching him on the podium honoring the music that gave his life such purpose was awe-inspiring.

Along with the music education outreach and arts programming that the Mancini family is responsible for, I dedicated the evening to the profoundly effective artistic and educational outreach programs of the concert's venue: The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
