If you're based in New York City—or visiting temporarily—this is for you. In-person vocal coaching unlocks a level of nuance that simply isn’t possible online. At the Tour de Fierce Music Studio in Astoria, Queens, you’ll work face-to-face with Broadway vocal coach Joseph Stanek using a stunning 1986 Black Kawai piano (not an electronic keyboard), wireless microphones for mic technique, and a domed ceiling built for optimal acoustics. The walls are lined with glitter-infused acoustic fabric, and there's even a floor-length mirror to help you monitor posture and alignment. Unlike virtual lessons, in-person coaching allows for tactile feedback and subtle cues—essential for unlocking tension and refining performance technique. We’ll get granular about your vocal habits, physicality, and artistry in ways that feel intuitive and immediate. Located just south of Astoria Park, our private studio is easily accessible from Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey. The studio has its own restroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and access to a tranquil private green space. (We also have a friendly, well-behaved studio dog who quietly observes your breakthroughs. 🐾) Whether you're a Broadway-bound belter, a choral singer from Staten Island, or a New Jersey-based worship leader seeking vocal support—you’ll leave each session with tools that make you a more intelligent, self-corrective singer.
